North Shore Weddings
Have you dreamed of having a wedding in God's great cathedral, the great outdoors of the North Shore of Lake Superior?
Do you have a favorite place on "the Shore"?
I would be happy to perform your ceremony any place in Minnesota's Arrowhead region.
I have done weddings at:
Split Rock Lighthouse State Park, Gooseberry Falls State Park, Palisade Head, Ely's Grand Ely Lodge, and Grand Superior Lodge on Lake Superior. I have also performed wedding ceremonies on several different mountains in Tettegouche State Park where we had to hike several miles to do the service.
For small wedding parties, I would recommend one of the many B&B's on the shore, like the Baptism River Inn.
If you need help, I can recommend several several hotels, on Lake Superior where you can have the wedding as well as a beautiful place to stay.

Basic charge is $200 plus mileage. This includes a pre-wedding consultation and a rehersal, if you would like one. For no extra cost, I will also provide special music, if I know the music. (I sang in the St. Olaf choir.) There is an extra charge if I have to learn new music.
To let you know a little about me. I have been married for over 30 years (to the same woman)! I graduated from Wartburg Seminary in Dubuque, IA. I was ordained at North Heights Lutheran Church in St. Paul, MN in 1983. You can see a picture of me with my family on my "Family Fun" page.
